This is a beautiful, rare example of a 19th Century european (possibly Austrian) cradle. Now fully refurbished and painted in Farrow & Ball 'Cromarty' No. 285 (a lovely soft, pale greeny blue) with an Annie Sloan dark wax base coat, and clear finish. The dark wax has really brought out the original antique patina beautifully. I have lightly distressed the item to reflect wear and tear, comensurate with its age, and added hand painted floral wreath motifs, courtesy of Jocasta Innes designs. The dark wax on top of the Cromarty paint colour has definitely given it an aged, slightly Gustavian feel that would bring charm to a variety of interior settings.

The sleeping compartment measures 17cm deep X 30.5cm wide.

Lovely folk art style pine wall cupboard painted in F&B Pale Hound which is a very subtle pale yellow shade. I have added the handpainted boxing hare motif and given it a clear wax finish. The epitomy of country style!  

A vintage 'upcycled' pine corner unit or TV cabinet. Probably late C20th in the Ducal style. I have painted it in F&B Oxford Stone and given it a dark wax finish.  

A beautiful Victorian six-seater Farmhouse Table. I have repainted the base in Farrow & Ball 'Green Smoke', gently distressing it to reveal layers of historic paint pigment and then applied Annie Sloan's dark wax which accentuates the hand painted finish. The draw fronts and their knobs are painted in a complimentary F&B 'Oxford Stone' shade, again using dark wax to finish. The top of the table has been left in its original condition.

Very unusual hand carved 'Aisian Style' Alter table. Base is painted in Farrow & Ball Incardine no. 248 which F&B describe as a 'sumptous crimson red', with subtle gilding to carved side panels. Base is lightly distressed to emphasise the piece's potential age. Top and base finished with Annie Sloan black wax. This table would look great as a dining room servery, in a living room for drinks/books or in a hallway. Definitely a conversation peice.

Antique bedside/pot cabinet. Treated and hand painted in Farrow & Ball Archive Stone No. 227 with gilded reed moulding detail. Lightly distressed to emphasise age and finished with Annie Sloan Dark Wax. Brass handle. Very nice peice, would add a touch of old world charm to any bedroom.
